From James Brown to Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars and Top 40’s, to ingenious original music, this insanely talented musical collaboration is what keeps Mike Zabrin’s Funktastic the most exciting and ambitious soul-infused funk powerhouse. MZF is the life of the party, and brings a high energy memorable experience that will have you dancing all night long! Fronted by bass extraordinaire, Mike Zabrin, the band has been featured on WGN, Bass Player Magazine, Jazz Corner, and hundreds of other notable world-wide publications.
Powerhouse horns and captivating vocals reinvents our style for the present. Their 2014 debut record, Funktastic, features collaborations with members of Kool & the Gang, Fishbone, and Kendra Foster of Parliament Funkadelic.
Outside of performing, Mike is the Manager of The Rock House Wilmette Music School.
